About

Working at the boundary between research and real-world systems.

My current role at the Institute of Flight Guidance, German Aerospace Center (DLR) is to shape the future of Air Traffic Control systems. To fulfill this role, I am involved in multiple projects including DLR internal efforts and European SESAR initiatives.

In my previous role at the Information Systems and Machine Learning Lab (ISMLL), University of Hildesheim, I built automation systems for leasing vehicle return assessment in collaboration with Volkswagen Financial Services. This work combined object detection on vehicle images with repair-cost estimation to reduce variance in assessment outcomes. Additional projects included assessing electric car-sharing business models with renewable energy sources and improving software efficiency in high-performance computing environments.
